We take the safety of our patients and team members very seriously. Learn how visiting the dentist during COVID can be safe, and what to do to prepare for your visit. We encourage you to visit our practice for your needs. Our team takes your health and peace of mind seriously.

Always-on Mask Policy

Wearing a face mask has been proven to slow the spread of COVID-19. Our Montreal practice takes every precaution we can, and masks are one of the most important preventive methods. When inside our office, we ask that patients wear a mask until they are in the chair. This minimizes the risk of spreading infection. This is a good precaution during flu season in general, and even more important with COVID rampant still.

Our team members will always be wearing masks, with no exceptions. We do our part to ensure your safety while you have your mask off.

COVID Screenings

Before confirming an appointment, you will undergo a standard COVID screening process, which may include questions about potential exposure and symptoms, as well as taking your temperature.

Those showing signs of COVID infection such as fever, fatigue, or dry coughing are not permitted in our office. If you have recently been in contact with someone with COVID, we ask that you quarantine for two weeks and get a COVID test before coming in for dental work.

Ventilation

COVID spreads indoors, usually because of poor ventilation. Aerosols linger in the air and on surfaces, so it is crucial to keep air moving to remain fresh. Patients can rest assured that our office in Montreal is well-ventilated, providing a safe environment for dental work.

Vaccinations

With the advent of COVID vaccines, we are a step closer to returning to normal life. As soon as our team has access to the vaccine, we will take it to prevent future spread of COVID. Our team will be protected, and much less likely to spread the disease. If you have received a vaccination and would like to visit, all the better. We ask that you still keep your mask on just in case.

Video and Telephone Screenings

Video chat apps and other resources have made it possible to conduct business safely with no risk of COVID exposure. We offer video consultations and telephone screenings for simple consultations where no dental work is actually done. Dentists can get a good sense of the issues simply by speaking with patients.

Routine Disinfection

Our facilities are cleaned daily with powerful disinfectants. We want to leave no trace of the virus around if it happens to get into our office. We offer hand sanitizer as well, and ask that you disinfect your hands upon entering.
